Hello. My name is Julie. I am a 19 year-old female attending UCSD as a Psychology major. Therefore. this position would be perfect for me, as a La Jolla college student living in Chula Vista! I understand 19 may seem young for someone to whom you are entrusting the safety and supervision of your pet(s) to, but I wholeheartedly believe I meet any and all of your requirements. First, I find it important to express that I love working with animals. I am comfortable with a variety of pets, from cats to dogs to rats. No only do I enjoy caring for them, but participating in playtime (walks to the park, playing with toys, cuddling, petting, et cetera), as well. This is evident not only through my past petsitting experience, but in my relationship with my 3 dogs (a miniature pinscher, mutt, and Weimaraner), cat, and rats. Also, I have several years caring for animals. I have owned pets my entire life and have been personally responsible for caring for them. However, I do also have professional experience petsitting (including overnight house/petsitting for several weeks at a time). Additionally, I have spent several summers volunteering at an animal shelter (my responsibilities included interacting with the animals, cleaning their living spaces, grooming, and walking/exercising). I understand you may have doubts as to my abilities, work ethic, and availability due to my age and status as a college student. However, I am extremely hard-working, reliable, and competent, which I believe to be very important in any profession, but especially with a position such as this which impacts members of your family.
