I have grown up taking care of all types of animals including mice, hamsters, dogs, cats, fish, and guinea pigs and I am comfortable around all types of animals. I am currently enrolled in Hardin-Simmons University as an Elementary Education major but I am working on withdrawing and going to cosmetology school here in Abilene. Although I have a strong passion for cosmetology my passion for animals is stronger. I have a total of 40 hours of volunteer work just through the Taylor-Jones Humane Society. And I have had various dog sitting/walking jobs in my neighborhood for friends and family. I have recently adopted a Great Dane puppy who is quite a handful. I would not call myself a pet groomer but I have always given my own cats and dogs baths and would feel comfortable doing so for anyone else. With my current schedule I am free all day but I will not offer boarding or overnight care services.
