New guests will be invited for a one-night trial prior to her first vacay. Having the travel bug myself, I can appreciate the importance of securing a loving home where our pets will be well-kept around the clock. A short ten minutes from Anna Maria Island and the Gulf Coast beaches, we're excited to offer 24-hour care and companionship at our 1,800 sq ft smoke-free, cat-free, fully fenced home in NW Bradenton. Only 20 minutes to I-75, you'll find us in a quaint residential neighborhood convenient to Robinson Preserve and DeSoto Memorial. LONG-TERM WELCOME. SHORT-NOTICE OK. WHICH SERVICE IS RIGHT FOR YOU? *Availability changes quickly* and reservations are honored on a first come, first confirmed basis. Those made via my website are accepted and given priority over phone, text and email requests. "BOARDING" Guest dogs are adored as our own, who are free to play and find comfort throughout our four-bedroom home as well as the 40' x 100' backyard with 6' privacy fence. Though we don't encourage "potty pads" and our diaper days are behind us, medications are certainly welcome! It's not necessary to have your dog primped and polished prior to arrival as she'll just shake it out and have fun with her friends! No worries though, we'll ensure she goes home just as neat and tidy as she arrived. I encourage you to go home, unpack, enjoy a meal or simply take a breath first but checkout should occur by 8pm. $30 night. "SITTING" with your dog in his or her own environment maintains their absolute comfort while you’re away. Feeding & companion options are also available for your cat, bird, farm, exotic, cage or aquarium pets at home. Their sleep schedule, eating habits, medication, exercise, affection, etc. is without interruption, as if you’re there with them. My meals and personal care items are not your responsibility. Requests concerning laundry, dishes, mail, trash, lights or plants are acceptable (within reason) at no charge. $60 night, 5mi radius. Limited availability. "DAYCARE" 8am to 8pm This option is perfect for newly adopted pups, long work days and family outings. Your dog will enjoy social activity, routine meals and treats, and many potty breaks throughout. $20 day. "FEEDING / WALKING" among the sights & smells of your pet's own community is often the choice for more independent dogs. We'll discuss your pup's needs and customize these visits to compliment your current routine. Please note, your reservation may be subject to an additional charge if a visit is requested during local festivities such as fireworks or parade that requires a significant detour or extended driving route. If you'll be away longer than just a night, please consider the "Boarding" or "Sitting" option so your dog will receive adequate attention and interaction and can enjoy your vacation as much as you will. $20 visit @ 5 miles with 50 cents each add'l mile (RT). Short-term only, 24 hours. "LOCAL TRANSPORTATION" can be provided for pet parents on a tight schedule. To or from my home, vet appointments or I-75, btwn 8am and 8pm, pending availability. $20 up to 10 miles. Also serving Sarasota (SRQ), Orlando (MCO), St Pete (PIE) and Tampa (TPA) International Airports along with area hotels and theme parks for your convenience, btwn 8am and 8pm, pending availability. $50 up to 120 miles. AVAILABILITY Please contact me directly as each service affects my online calendar differently. -->It may appear as though I'm booked when, in fact, check-in/check-out times often overlap, or I might be scheduled for a 30 minute walk but remain available for daycare and boarding. -->The calendar may reflect "1 Spot Left" while I'm confirmed for sitting, but that is a service that doesn't allow me to board at my home simultaneously. EXPERIENCE Lifelong dog owners, my husband and I have been fosters for Safe Haven Animal Rescue and I'm experienced in administering meds (both Subq and oral), pre-op and post-op pets, and visits with the vet. When you board with us, your four-legged family member gets our undivided attention. EXCLUSIVITY is certainly an option, just ask! Space is limited to three reservations at a time to ensure our guests have adequate space to play and rest and so your dog receives the stimulation, affection and personalized attention she thrives on. All guests are offered their own diet, separately, as this keeps food aggression and belly upset away. Everyone is spayed and arrives with their current immunization record (Bordetella, Distemper, Rabies, and suggested Lepto) and it's preferred that your dog is protected against fleas & ticks as we do enjoy walks through the neighborhood and beyond. We remain consistent with your house rules in regards to furniture, manners, sleeping arrangements, etc., so there is no confusion when she returns home. MEET-N-GREET Different from a facility, you'll have the opportunity to meet your dog's playmates and those who will provide care during the vacay. Meet-N-Greets are welcomed and encouraged, and rates are not in stone, so please reach out with any questions or to arrange a visit.
