Pet Sitter Job in Lafayette, Colorado

Errand Service Biz, Inc DBA e-Services Pet Care, is an established (17 years) and growing dog walking and pet sitting Company. We are currently seeking a reliable dog walker and dog sitter as an Independent Contractor to join our Pet Care Team. This position is part time and fluctuating during the busy and slow times. We are looking for someone who is able to work between the hours of 11am-3pm, including weekend and holidays. The stated hours will fluctuate depending on the service, i:e service of an overnight is different than a dog walk service RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be responsible for traveling to client’s homes and taking care of their pets. Your duties include but are not limited to general care of peoples pets (walking, feeding, cleaning up accidents) and most importantly loving on their pets. Depending on the dog certain services can be physically demanding with constant walking, lifting and bending. You may be requested to do some other things while you are there with the pet like bring in the mail, water the flowers etc. REQUIREMENTS: • Must have valid driver’s license with good driving records • Must be 21 years of age • Pass criminal check/back ground check • Must be organized, responsible and on TIME • Must be able to follow specific instructions and have good communication with our clients • Must have smartphone and access to email • Must feel comfortable walking all dogs and all sizes in all kinds of weather • Prior experience with dogs is preferred • Must be flexible in the event that other things need to be done especially for our “vacation” clients, like taking in the mail, watering flowers inside and out, picking up the paper or whatever they need while we are there • Must leave a pet care diary of your walk/ service for the client.
