Pet Sitter in Auburn, Washington

I recently retired after 34 years with the same company and am looking for something to keep me busy several days per week. My wife and I own a home in NW Auburn, near Evergreen Elementary School, where we have lived for the past 14 years. Our long time housemate and pet Mattie, a Black Lab Weimeraner mix, passed several years ago. We've attmepted to replace Mattie with no luck. We have no pets at this time, though we do watch our grown daughters two yellow labs Cade and Chase occasionally on weekends. We are a pet friendly home with a large covered and fenced court yard and lots of indoor living space. We have a home office, where Shiloh and I would spend most of our Monday's and Wednesdays. I am in excellent health and walk and run every morning in a large 80 acre protected natural area directly accross the street from our home. This area has lots of trails that Mattie and I walked and ran daily and is a wonderful area to walk pets. I am home on Monday's and Wednesdays so watching Shiloh on those days, all day, at my home works well. I believe and understand all dogs, just like kids, need an abundance of love and attention, daily exercise and to be a part of a family. I have a two year old granddaughter that I care for and watch since birth on Thursday's, the only day I'm not available to pet sit. My folks moved to Federal Way in 1962 where I've spent most of my entire life growing up, raising a family, starting a business and now retired. I know most of the beaches, lakes, parks and dog friendly trails in the Puget Sound Region and have a pet friendly vehicle for "field trip" days.
