I must start by saying that my passion for animals in general dates back to my childhood at which time my father gave me my first pet a dog. Ever since I have enjoyed caring for cats, dogs and birds first as members of my family and eventually as a professional care giver. To that extent I currently provide pet care to 10 pets belonging to friends and clients and must say that they are very satisfied with my services. My care services, provided from home, include feeding, administering medication, bathing, grooming and most importantly providing them love and tenderness without ignoring discipline. I firmly believe that pets look upon their keepers as the alpha members of the pack and as such they develop a sense of security and comfort with the caregiver. Since I do not have a large home my services are intended for small sized breeds who roam freely in my home and garden. I firmly oppose keeping pets, except birds, in cages since in my opinion they are intended to live a free and joyful life interacting with other animals including humans. In the event of health complications I keep a veterinarian on call and we have developed a mutually rewarding relationship that is to say we refer clients reciprocally and consult on pet care strategies for those difficult pets which needless to say turn difficult for not having a home that nurtures affection, character and discipline.
