Pet Sitter in Shadow Hills, California

I was raised on a ranch in Granada Hills with farm animals; pigs, goats, birds, chickens, horses, cows, donkeys and dogs. However, my favorite were cats. My brother, Pete, would tend his horse boarding business while I would prefer to stay in the main house & pet my cats. My first cat was a gift from an employee at the Piggly Wiggly market on Chatsworth Street. It was my 5th birthday. A lady gave me this beautiful long haired calico! I felt instant love. I named her 'Nellybell', after the jeep on the Roy Rogers tv show in the mid '50's. Twelve years later, I vacationed in Mexico for one month. When I came back, Nellybell's food & wTer bowls were off the kitchen floor. My dad told me, she wouldn't eat when I was gone. She left one day and never returned. I was sick with grief and guilt. I have never taken another lengthy trip since then. I've been a cat owner from then on. I love cats! They are so soft and cuddly with those gorgeous faces. I love to hear them purr. I could play with them for hours. My last one, "Coolwhip", slept on top of my left ankle every night.
