I am a dog owner and animal lover at heart. I treat every animal under my care as if it were my own. Kaia's Paraidise is designed to make your fur-baby feel like they are part of paradise, part of the family and ensuring they are having the BEST TIME possible. Kaia and Kendric are my beloved pets and are the staff here in Paradise. We know how hard it is for YOU to leave your loved one behind. It is one of the reasons we like to take the videos and post them. Videos are superior to just plain pictures as it helps put your mind at ease. You see first hand your fur-baby's interaction & socialization with the other dogs here in paradise. How they are making friends, spending fun in the sun, getting exercise and sleeping peacefully at night. You see them exhausted from an over abundance of playtime. You might even keen in on something I'm missing and be able to tell me a tip for your fur-baby based on behavior you've watched from the videos. Kaia LOVES animals and was born a natural nurturer. Kaia will greet and check-up on all dogs staying at Kaia's Paradise; and she does this all on her own!! She also likes to play and keep everyone engaged & involved in the playtime sessions. The yard is entirely shaded and has a patio area. Kaia's Paradise has created a front porch that has a constant and continual breeze powered by high velocity air moving fans. Not a single mosquito can fly in the large open porch area. Plus the breeze keeps the dogs very cool while they relax on waterbeds also located on the porch. In the Pergola area, again being shaded, there is a suspended bed for air-circulation and keeping the pups cool as they relax. Water bowls are located outside and inside the house; are always kept full & washed twice a day. Patio area is completely shaded and could provide for an outdoor retreat. There is a doggie pool on premise shaped as large bone. The Pool is emptied, cleaned and re-filled every day. Swim time ends around 6pm nightly, during the summer to allow for the dogs to dry before coming into the house. If you would like your little fur-baby to swim or play in the doggie pool during their vacay -- please let us know. We will be asking on the meet-n-greet or during drop-off just in case. The inside of the house is kept very cool. Kaia's Paradise has Central Air. However we went a step further by adding a window unit in the room that received the least amount of airflow from the central AC unit. Then added floor fans to push all that cool air throughout the home. Kaia's Paradise has several child gates to section off areas of the property and house. Those are: *the patio *the front yard *the front porch *the office *the bedroom *the bathroom *the kitchen *the hallway *the main living room *the backyard *the side-yard ALL these areas could possibly serve as individual sanctuaries for an animal staying at Kaia's Paradise. If your fur-baby needs alone time, peace-n-quiet or refuge from playing, they will be given the option of one of these sanctuaries. This also allows for different play groups to be in different areas playing at the same time. There are 8 outside security cameras that are recording and connected to a DVR. Your pet is always in our sight. From play to rest & from dawn to dusk your fur-baby will always be under the eye in the sky. If by chance there is ever is an incident or accident, the video's from the DVR will be available for review. Skills in bending/compromising, personality, being flexible, honesty, intuition, patients, awareness, assertiveness recognizing and knowing how to deal with characteristics that are not your own. We here do that daily with dogs and humans alike. We are always watching and always learning in order to be better prepared and ready for the "next time". We make it an enormous goal to have your fur-baby feel like they are part of paradise, part of our family & at the same time putting your mind at ease.
