My name is Mecca Nix. I've been a pet care provider for most of my life and professionally for almost 15 years. I provide service to Hollister and it's surrounding areas. I have an incredible passion for animals of all shapes and sizes and would love the opportunity to help you care for yours when you can't be there. Whether it be a single visit everyday while you're at work, or multiple visits while you're away for extended business trips or vacations. My job is to make your absences as painless and stress free as humanly possible for both you, and your pets. Kennels can be loud, noisy, dark, damp, and smelly places. Unfamiliar and impersonal service can cause undue trauma to your pet, so it is my mission to eliminate that from your pets life. I offer a variety of services that will help alleviate any stress your absence may cause by walking, play ball/fetch, kitty play, feed at specific times to maintain their schedule, let in/out, crate/uncrate/bedtime rituals, cuddle/affection time, or anything else that you think will make your family members/friends more comfortable while you are away. I can also administer meds, and offer transportation to/from the vet or groomers. If you want your mail brought in, plants watered , or lights rotated, I'm your girl! I am licensed, insured and bonded, and available to meet the needs of you and your pets at any time. In the past, I was a supervisor at the Wildlife Center Of Silicon Valley, a Pet Therapy volunteer for the elderly at convalescent hospitals through the Delta Society, and have fostered scores of orphaned baby animals of all types. I was also a Ranger for the city of San Jose where I was responsible for wildlife talks at school assemblies with live animals, including owls, crows, hawks, and reptiles.
