Pet Sitter in Cape Girardeau, Missouri

Well, im 23 years old, but I've loved animals since I was small and started "saving" worms from drowning in the rain, haha! I grew up with cats, dogs, fish, and 2 hermit crabs. Currently I own a pitbull mix with my boyfriend who we love dearly. At my parents house I have a daschund, and two tabby cats who I visit as often as I can. I wanted to be a veterinarian, but I'm squeamish when it comes to needles and surgery so now I'm looking at becoming a dog trainer. My dream job is actually to work at an animal rescue for domesticated and wild animals.  During high school I watched my neighbors two daschunds every day after school until they got home from work. I've bathed dogs and cats, enjoy going on walks with them, and playing. I've taught my pibble at home various tricks like sit, roll over, wait, shake, look left and right, lay down, speak, whisper, get behind me, etc.  I have photos and videos of my pets if you'd like to see them!  I believe in positive training and reinforcement!! I don't believe in hitting or doing any harm to pets because they will learn and connect so much better with you if you gently teach them and reward them for doing the right thing. I don't think there are pets that are bad by nature, it's how they are raised. :)  I really love animals, and it would be a great job for me to be able to meet yours and love them too!
