Hi! I am a senior in high school, and have been around animals my whole life. I currently own a 7 year old 8lb mutt, a 12 year old cat, and a goldfish. In the past I have owned fish, guinea pigs, mice, hamsters, and every other furry(or not so furry!) friend imaginable. I am also an avid equestrian and have been riding for over 8 years and have experience training young and green horses of all sizes and types. Veterinary Science is a passion of mine, and I spent over a year interning at a local veterinary office, and have also placed top 5 in my state for a Veterinary Science competition for my school. I am taught in Canine and Feline CPR, handling aggressive dogs, giving medicine to dogs, and handling animals in emergency situations. In addition, I have worked at a doggy daycare and have experience caring for dogs in a pack environment and dealing with fights and bad behavior. I believe that in order to have a happy pet, you must establish a dominant role as an owner, but through a rewarding and positive environment. I enjoy being around animals and would like to make your pet happy and comfortable just like my pets are. I have many references available.
