Pet Sitter Job in Manhattan, New York

Hello my name is Sukhreet . I am the "Ma" of Baya, a Double Yellow Headed Amazon who was hatched in 1992 and lived with me until last year. Guatemala is a CITIES treaty country and parrots are native to the region. I have retired and now live in Antigua, GUATEMALA. For the past year Baya has been staying with a foster family who love him very much but are inexperienced bird parents. I am worried sick about him. Could you please help me with some information to start with. ( Baya loves riding in cars and we used to make daily walks when he was in Manhattan.) Is Baya able to travel safely on a plane at his age? The Guatemalan Consulate says I can bring him here. Is that true? Is there any such thing as a Companion Bird? I am living here on a pension and I would use Frequent flyer miles to come to New York to get him. Before I make a move though I want to be sure I am doing the best thing for my beloved bird. When I hear from you I will make further plans , hopefully with your help( paid).
