I am a person who has had pets since my youth. I have rescued pets from every type of condition ( lost, abused, starved, the pond, and abandoned. In fact I found 3 baby rabbits in a tire in the woods. I was able to fine homes for 2 and kept 1 for my own. As a dog lover, I cared for other people's dogs even as a teenager..... a 12 year old, I found a dog that was lost and in a field.That pet became the beginning of my care for dogs and other pets..... giving love to dogs they become part of my own family. I have a blind Beagle that we love and care for. He has been with us since a puppy. It's hard to say which of us love him more my wife or my self. I also take care of my son's 65 lb dog when he travels for business.
