Pet Sitter in Washington, District of Columbia

I was born into a family where animals are just as important as humans (if not more :) ). I grew up in a household with a dog, a cat, and 2 bunnies. Additionally, my Grandmother, who lives 2 blocks from where I grew up, has always taken in almost any stray animal she comes across. She always had at least 6 animals at all times running through her house (which was my favorite part about going to visit her!) I have been dog sitting for local neighbors since I was in 5th grade. Sadly, the 2 dogs I consistently dog sat for (for 15 years) just recently passed away at age 20. I administered medicine to them and took them on walks. I live in Washington, DC but work in Bethesda, MD and own a car so I am pretty flexible about where I can travel to. I really miss being around animals and want to fill that void by helping out families that need some extra loving for their pets while they are gone. I am comfortable administering medicine to cats and dogs (and have experience in both) depending on the pet, and type of medicine.
