Pet Sitter in Manhattan, New York

Animals are wonderful because they are the purest expression of natural beauty and love. I'm never happier than when I'm cuddling with pets or watching them explore the world around them. I have a lot of experience with animals, from owning my own pets throughout my childhood and in university to volunteering at the local animal shelter. At the shelter, my main responsibilities were to acclimate the cats and dogs to the shelter, and also prepare them for adoption. During my undergraduate experience, I have worked with animals in a laboratory setting (never to hurt) in my studies of comparative physiology. I recently finished my undergraduate studies at Colgate University, and graduated with a degree in Molecular Biology and Asian Studies. I live in Westchester currently, but will be working in Manhattan at the New York Stem Cell Foundation as a research intern, and am interested in jobs like this where I can spend time outside of work saving for grad school and also doing something I love: spending time with animals.
