My name is Grace, nice to meet you! Where to start? I guess I'll begin with saying the root of my passion begins with nostalgia -- I had every type of pet growing up. Some examples include dogs, cats, large and small birds, large and small rodents, fish and reptiles. There is no creature I am not fascinated by, and eager to understand. I deeply care for and respect all animals -- and feel their joy and pain as if it is my own. That being said, I am quite fearless in the face of aggressive animals and simultaneously sensitive to their needs. I believe this comes from my time working in a training/grooming facility where I was able to work with all breeds of cats and dogs and was required to remain calm at all times. I am familiar with various types of dog food, leashes and harnesses, and I know much about grooming. It was working here that I came to love pomeranians, and set off soon after to scoop one up myself. He's the cutest dog ever! (But everyone would say the same thing of their own dog, wouldn't they? Haha!) Aside from dogs and cats, however, I have a particular fondness for reptiles and fish and I am certainly willing and capable of looking after both with enthusiasm and expertise. I currently have a number of aquariums that I maintain via cleaning and aquascaping (which is the art of creating an underwater garden for your fish with live plants!). I also owned three beautiful chameleons in the past, and very much enjoyed the challenge of learning and caring for such delicate but wonderful creatures. Lastly, I am trustworthy. I would never do anything that might make an animal or client uncomfortable. I am quiet and focused, and determined to leave as little of a footprint as possible in peoples homes, and lives.
