Pet Sitter in Concord, California

I grew up with dogs since I was 5 years old. There was always a dog in our house. I so wanted all the time to bring home stray dogs and kittens. My last dog was Red. He was a rescue from the Martinez shelter. My son and I had to wait until the owner had to give permission to give him up. This took a few weeks. When we found out he was available, we found out another family was interested. We were told it was first come first serve. My son and I decided to camp out in my truck in front of the shelter overnight. Tent in the back with a make shift toilet. We were the first ones there that morning and got to bring Red home. Red died close to 3 years ago from joint and head cancer. I love dogs but I am afraid there will never be one again like Red. After going to my friends house last Friday who is a dog watcher, I met an adorable Chihuahua named Smalls. The dog sat on my lap almost the whole night. I said to myself how cool of a job this would be. I am a very active person and love to go for walks but it would be so much cooler if I had a buddy with me then going by myself. I miss having a dog around to play with and to love. And this is why I decided that watching dogs would be so cool!
