Pet Sitter Job in Tonawanda, New York

I'm an
Individual
Hello! I'm reaching out in hopes of finding a pet sitter to come look after my herd for 4 weeks in December, as I go to visit my boyfriend in Canada now that Canada is allowing couples to cross the border. I have 2 cats (Ashe and Zidane) an aquatic turtle (Franklin) and a ball python (Udon). Looking for someone to come visit in the evenings each day, as I'm a night shift worker and that when my cats are used to eating and my snake usually eats best in teh evening times. the exact time doesn't really matter, I just picked 6pm cause it was the middle ground. preference would be between 4pm and 10pm 6 out of 7 days out you'd be doing feeding/water change/litterbox for the cats, and then just checking on the lights/heaters/filter/feeder for the snake and turtle tanks just to make sure those are on and working, and cleaning any stool in Udon's tank (it's dry and easy to clean up, once every week or two) I think this would be about 30 minutes or so on those days on the 7th day you'd be doing the above plus replacing the water in the bowl in Udon's tank, feeding Udon and refilling Franklin's automatic feeder, this might take up to an hour overall. Ashe and Zidane are fairly easy going and friendly once they get used to you. Franklin is pretty chill and like I said above, won't require much hands-on care. Udon is fairly shy and spends most of his time in his hide. He is very calm and chill when being held if you're interested in handling him, but other than feeding and checking the tank as above, you do not have to handle him directly if you don't want to I understand that out of all of m pets that Udon might be one people might be nervous about dealing with, in that either some might be afraid of snakes or others might be nervous about the process of feeding him. I totally understand that! Also Udon live in an escape-proof tank so you don't have to worry about him getting loose on you or anything like that. I have never used a sitter before so I'm not 100% sure how the process works, I figure there's a day where we would meet at my house to introduce the animals before the pet sitting dates? if that's the case I will demonstrate the process for feeding Udon to show he easy it is, in addition to whatever else is usually done during the introduction time :) If you're interested in pet sitting my menagerie and want to talk details/pricing I'm looking forward to hearing back from you!
