Pet Sitter Job in Hermitage, Tennessee

I'm an
Individual
We are looking for someone who can handle 3 dogs to take for walks that can go for an hour minimum. They are wonderful, funny, loving dogs. Let me introduce you: Calvin: My old boy. He's a Cocker spaniel who is 13 going on 3. He's still frisky and loves his walks. He's pretty much perfect and doesn't care about people or other dogs while walking. Just wants to walk and have fun. I usually just put his leash in my backpack pocket and that's it. He always follows and doesn't need much attention. Pearl: My 4 year old Rottweiler. She's a runt, and is only 70 lbs. (Half the size/weight of a normal Rottie.) So most people double check if she still is a Rottie when we walk. She's almost perfect. Still learning everyday but is a gentle giant type of soul. She loves kids and babies. If she sees strollers, she'll try to check out the baby, so you just need to say "Leave it" and she'll keep going. It's so cute. She was bred for non-aggression and it shows. She was raised by Calvin so I think she thinks she's a cocker honestly. Colonel Sanders: My baby. He's a 16 month old American Staffordshire (blue nose). Came from show dog parents and he's just beautiful. But he's a big chicken. He's scared of hardwood floors, skate boards, motorcycles, and buses, and anything else he doesn't understand.. But he loves kids and people. So if you say hi to anyone on the walk, he thinks they're his friends and will try to go up to them. So just say no and keep walking and he'll follow your lead. He's 24/7 happy and shakes his whole body when he wags his tail. It's so cute and you can't help but smile when you see it. I have owned dogs for over 20 years and have put a lot of time into training. I got Pearl and Colonel on purpose to change the mind sets of these breeds and want to assure you that you will be able to tell that they have been trained. They're sweet, gentle, love to play ball, stick, go swimming and be outside. I'm just looking for someone who "gets them" and has an alpha mentality, because like children, if they feel like you're a substitute teacher, they'll try to be the leader and take advantage of the situation. So you need to be experienced in breeds like that as well. :)
