Hey hey, the name is Jess. I'm living alone in Atlanta, trying to figure out what life is about and looking for more soul-satiating work. As such, I'm hoping to spend more time with all the pets I can't afford to own myself! I've owned and cared for cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, guineas, hamsters, birds, fish, turtles, and wild animals for all of my 29 years on this earth. I've also been the exclusive pet sitter for a few loyal clients for over a decade. I attended University for Animal Sciences with a Pre-Veterinary Medicine Concentration, but got deterred from Vet School when I realized how bitter I would become dealing with abused animals. Instead I went into biomedical research. Now, I'm still looking to be involved in caring for furry friends - but under less devastating terms!
