Work location: Same as above Type of Employment: Full time – Permanent Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Job duties: - Bathing / shampooing - glands treatment - Pet clipping and styling - Ear cleaning - Flea baths - Nail clipping - Show clipping - Teeth cleaning - Prepare food and feed animals - Clean and disinfect cages, pens, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures - Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals - Assist animal breeders to handle and nurture animals - Monitor and document animal behavior - Keep records of animals treated - Maintain and order supplies - Manage large animals - Scoop the poop on a daily basis Requirements: Education: Completion of high school Experience is an asset Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Salary: $13.00 Hourly, 40.00 Hours per week Important information: The employee will work in 2 shifts: 1) From 6am to 10am 2) From 3pm to 7pm. 2 days off are set on a rotational basis.
