Pet Sitter Job in Bremerton, Washington

**I don't have more than a basic membership on this site, just FYI** Hi, I'm Trevor! I'm new to the PNW, just moved up here last year, so I don't know anybody here as of yet...To those who care: I'm a queer Non-binary Transguy (he/him pronouns), of color (East Indian & Latinx), and on Disability due to numerous severe chronic pain issues. I'm a mixed media artist, photographer, musician, writer, lifelong vegetarian, and lover of animals! This will be my 1st professional pet-sitting experience, and I'm flexible on hourly pay, just trying not to go over $15/hr. I'm going down to Portland to visit family from 8/20-8/22, so I need somebody to come pet-sit for me while I'm gone. :) The crew -- I have 4 dogs and 2 cats. I have 2 adult pitties, 1 adult chi-pin and 1 that's still a puppy (she's 7 mo. old but fully potty/kennel trained and very obedient). And for the kitties -- I have 1 small adult Siamese and 1 small adult Balinese. I just need someone to come by a few hours each day to refill water bowls (as needed), feed everybody, to let the dogs out to potty, and to just chill w/ them for a bit so they can get some much needed time out of their kennels. You're also more than welcome to hangout w/ the kitties, or let them chill on their own, they're good either way. Additionally, it would be great if you could scoop their 2 litter boxes just once a day while I'm gone. :) (No need to worry about the dog poop, I'll do it when I get back.) The Schedule: 8/20 - I will be leaving in the early afternoon, so you just need to come by for a total of 2 hrs, whether split into 2 visits or just 1, to feed everyone din-din, check on the kitties, let the doggos out, and give them some time out of their kennels before bedtime. (You can hold off on the cat boxes until the next day.) 8/21 - On this day, I'll need you here for a total of 3 hours, split into 3 one hour visits, to feed everyone breakkie in the AM and dinner in the PM, to check on the cats again, let the dogs out throughout the day, give them their kennel-free time, and then to scoop the cat boxes 1x, at your leisure. 8/22 - I'll be returning in the early evening, so you only need to come by for a total of 2 hrs again, either split up or consecutive, just to feed everyone breakkie, check on the cats one last time, let the dogs out, give them their kennel-free time, and then scoop the cat boxes one last time. No special skills are required; just be kind, calm, assertive with the dogs, so they know you're the boss (I keep spray bottles w/ water around to keep everybody in line if they act up lol), and be loving, patient, detail-oriented, and aware of your surroundings (i.e. keeping doggie gates in place at all times). I'd def prefer someone that has prior experience under their belt; whether in the vet/animal behavior fields, volunteering at shelters/rescues, etc..but I'm open to other caregivers as well. :)
