Pet Sitter Job in Salem, Massachusetts

Posting: Hi my name is Alissa and I'm hoping to find a petsitter living in Salem, Massachusetts that would be available on occasion to look after my cat, Nala. I frequently overnight at my boyfriend’s house in Malden and often go on overnight trips on weekends as well and am looking for a dependable, careful, and diligent pet sitter that I can consistently rely on on those occasions I am away. It would be very helpful to have someone with pretty open availability weekdays either morning or afternoon/evening as well as weekends with occasional short notice since I often commit to things pretty last minute! The job would be perfect for a mid 20s, younger individual like myself that doesn’t mind or at least is able to accommodate my occasionally less rigid schedule. Service Requirements: Nala is a special cat. She is 3 years old and incredibly social and friendly. I would say she’s a dog in a cat’s body. I need someone that is willing and capable of ensuring she is fed the appropriate diet as well. Nala suffered from a brain infection 2 years ago that caused her to lose some motor function, though she can still run, jump, and play (just with a little limp!) As a result of the frequent medication she took at the time, her throat became damaged and caused it to become very narrow, leaving her unable to eat solid food. She no longer requires medication, however, her wet food needs to blended with water into a soup-like consistency in order for her to swallow and injest it. It’s easy :) It’s preferable if you have a car or at least dependable transportation. I also have a parking spot off-street that you could use so no worries finding parking in downtown Salem.
