Hello, pet lovers! My name is Nicky, and I am a dedicated pet owner in Roanoke, Virginia. I am currently in search of a responsible and caring individual to provide pet sitting services for my beloved dogs. I have 4 dogs ranging from 2 to 13 years of age. There are some identified areas of behavior that requires special attention and knowledge. Someone who is confident and knowledgeable in resource guarding issues and protocols in dealing with this behavior is necessary. I’ve been a military dog trainer for 12.5 years and which sets my expectations extremely high. My dogs are my children! The ideal candidate will offer overnight care for my furry friends, ensuring they are safe and comfortable while I am away. They will have knowledge and experience in pet first aid/cpr as well as experience in handling resource guarding and proper protocol to identify and deter potential dog fights as well as proper procedure to separate dogs IF fight were to occur. This is not to scare anyone away from sitting for me, but showing the level of knowledge and experience I am looking for. Your primary responsibility will be to care for my dogs, which includes feeding and providing them with plenty of love and attention.
