Pet Sitter Job in Lincoln, Nebraska

My family is looking for someone who will stop in at least twice a day to our residence in Lincoln, NE to feed and care for our two senior cats when we are away for vacations. We are especially looking for a pet sitter for 4th of July weekend while we are at a friend's wedding. Simon is a 20 year old diabetic cat who needs his insulin and meals 12 hours apart. He is super sweet and the smartest cat I've ever met. He is on a low carb diet and needs to be kept away from his brother's kidney diet food. Simon will occasionally go outside of the litter box (but only in secret at night) if he is confused or his blood sugar is high so some clean up may be necessary. Bailey is an 18 year old cat with the beginning stages of kidney failure. He actually has a lot of energy and likes to explore. Bailey is given thyroid medication in the morning and evening and also two blood pressure medications in the evening. All are compounded with a chicken flavor but he still doesn't love taking them. We would prefer a certified veterinarian tech or someone with lots of experience with animals. Mostly we are looking for someone who is trustworthy and will give our furry family members love, kindness, and gentleness in their elder state. We are willing to pay extra for the right individual who would be attentive and able to spend 45 minutes to an hour hanging with our guys during their am and pm meal times. They like to start eating on their own and then need to be encouraged to eat more a bit later. I end up holding their bowls while they lounge like kings in their cat beds. Timeliness of feeding is also important because Simon's insulin needs to be administered every 12 hours. Thank you so much for your consideration!
