Pet Sitter Job in Guelph, Ontario

Posting: Hi there my name is Kate. I'm seeking a pet and farm sitter working in Guelph, Ontario. We are located just outside of the Southeast corner of Guelph near Arkell. My goal is to connect with a caring, hard-working and reliable sitter to cover our short summer vacation (dates flexible), and a fall vacation from October 22-29. Services: Our home requires a sitter that is comfortable with: feeding and watering cat and guinea pig; feeding, watering, letting out 5 dogs (4 in underground fenced area, one requiring leash walking); feeding/watering chickens, rabbits, turkeys; feeding and watering a small herd of cattle (from outside the fence), feeding and watering a medium sized herd of small-breed pigs (kunekunes) that are very friendly and social; ability to recognize illness in the above animals and if an emergency occurs, comfortable assisting a veterinarian on site. We work very hard to make things as absolutely as simple as possible for our sitter so that once-daily care is all that is required for livestock. Dogs would require more frequent care to be let out. Staying in the home for the duration of the care period would also be a possibility. You will require a vehicle as we are not on any public transportation routes.
