Pet Sitter Job in Elgin, South Carolina

We travel fairly often. We have two cats who are very close to each other and to us. One cat is 4 years old, the one just turned 1 year old. Both are sweet cats that may be shy to strangers but love to play once they get to know you. We are looking for someone friendly and responsible to do the following: - Feed the cats. - Refill bowls with fresh water. - Clean litter boxes. - Open and close the doors quickly and securely, so no cats get out. The chickens, like the cats, are pretty easy. To care for them, you will need to : - Top off the chicken water bowl - Top-off the chicken’s food - Toss in some “scratching grains” for them to peck. - Remove eggs from nesting box. The eggs are yours to enjoy if you want them. On one day, you will water the houseplants. We’ll leave an easy to follow checklist with instructions for you. We’ll be looking forward to a daily text from you to let us know you came by and everything is fine. If it sounds like a good fit over email/text/phone, you’ll need to come out to see the location of where everything is stored and kept, and meet the cats/chickens. We will pay you for this time at the end of the pet sitting if you’re the one we hire. We will pay $12/visit, plus free fresh eggs from pampered chickens (would sell for $6/doz) and a bonus when we see that everyone is happy/healthy when we get back! Thank you!
