Pet Sitter Job in Peoria, Arizona

First….prices are negotiable. I am looking for someone to come help me provide care/special attention to 5 older cats. They’ve all been with us for over 12 years, and are friendly but shy with new persons, so there may be a getting to know them adjustment period, it just depends. All are pretty mellow due to their age. We are open to hiring more than one person to help get the job done if necessary. Please note, the home is currently undergoing a MASSIVE overhaul, and there are boxes/items everywhere. If you’re also interested in earning some money helping to organize, let me know. We are located in Peoria. In beginning spending time getting to know them, and them you, so you can provide quality time with them. Helping to feed them, maybe scoop litters if necessary. We have many litter boxes for few cats so it’s never really unpleasant, and we use expensive quality litter that helps keep things clean and healthy for everyone. We scoop often throughout the day, so litters are usually pretty clean. A general sweeping of area near litters is needed, a quick 10 min job! Also, if you have a background in administering sub q fluids, we could use a hand with two of our babies. They are currently experiencing health issues and may require special care. A background as a vet tech would be helpful. There are other cats not needing special care that we could use your help with, so not having a vet tech background would work there. Frequency depends on how well our pets adapt to you, and if you’re comfortable working in a home going thru a massive overhaul. As a newly divorced mom of a child with Aspergers/ADHD, we are trying to do a major clean out of the home and all the things left unattended by my ex. We are super friendly, and patient people, and are really stressed from all the changes in the world and our personal life the last 2 1/2 years and really could use an extra set of hands to help alleviate the work load. Our fur babies mean the world to us and would love the extra attention you could provide. It would lower everyone’s stress and that alone would bring a positive outcome. We would prefer those who have been screened, background checked, and references would be helpful. I have a child whose been thru plenty so would like to alleviate any questions relating to dependability and safety. If helping with the 2 pets needing special care, a background in administering fluids would be helpful there. As far as Covid, we ask that you either wear a mask or be vaccinated as we will be wearing masks if that’s what you require of us.
