Pet Sitter Job in Covington, Louisiana

OK so here it goes......... We live in Covington on the Northshore, and I am trying to find one person completely reliable to pet sit with our dogs ( 6 very loving and well behaved) in our home when we travel. It's only about 3 or 4 times a year at most, but our group of dogs is totally our life. I am very knowledgeable about dogs and I ran a licensed rescue for 12 yrs. I am looking for someone VERY committed and loyal when they petsit in our home. You would have to be very loving and understand their needs, along with keeping to a strict schedule. They very much have a routine. We live in a wonderful area of Covington, a cottage type home, on a very nice piece of property. I might add this is for over night stays only, in a very nice neighborhood. NO WALKS are required even though we walk our dogs every day. I would never want to take a chance with any of my dogs getting lost or afraid. Being here at the house more than now, is very important to me since 4 out of the 6 are seniors. I am not looking for someone who will be gone 5 or more hours a day. I prefer someone who does not have a job to go to every day. That doesn't mean you can't leave from time to time during the day. All are housebroken but a few takes oral meds, so it's a must you aren't timid about that.. They take them very easily and must be given as required every day, twice a day. In my heart I would really like for them to get to know 1 person who sits with them when it's needed. They have to feel comfortable and it's not just someone to feed them and leave. Establishing a good relationship with someone who cares is what I am searching for. There is no doubt in my mind you would fall in love with each of them because they are all wonderful dogs with great dispositions. I would have to discuss pricing and what you normally charge too. All of our dogs are extremely well behaved with a few being shy. Everyone who watches our dogs falls in love with them and can't get over how well behaved they are along with how well cared for they are. Breeds we have: Sheltie, Pomeranian, Cocker Spaniel, Mini Aussie, Sheltie mix and Basenji mix. All rescued and all very close to one another.
