Pet Sitter Job in Marana, Arizona

Hello my name is Megan! My partner and I are traveling to Ohio for my parents memorial/celebration of life. We are seeking a reliable sitter who is able to make themselves comfortable here in our home for 3nights, with our diverse but smaller array of animals/reptiles. We are the only two people that live here so upon leaving our home there will be no (human) occupancy while the sitter resides. Please dont hesitate to reach out with any questions regarding a companion/guest! We are equally attentive and eager to provide exceptional hospitality during your dedication to us! PROPERTY! Our home sits on a 5 acre “desert country” parcel which is accessed off three bumpy but accessible dirt roads off manville Rd. Our only neighbor has been pleasantly here for us in any time of need and we can verify her willingness to extend that same respect to you as well, if desired! Parking is overly abundant out in front of our house. There are a couple trees that provide shade but no direct car shade structures otherwise. Behind our home our dogs have safe and free access to a half acre completely fenced with one small area lined with snake fencing to deter unwelcomed creatures. OUR PETS! We have 3 dogs that will be home, one of our litter-mate pups will have separate boarding arrangements! Cali - 11 year old female cattle dog mix (queen bee); Hank - 2 year old boxer mix; Westley - 10 month old Australian Cattle Dog/Blue nose pit mix. We have 4 cats that are always strictly kept gated separately on one side of the house because of past difficulties coexisting with our dogs. Our one female cat does require a vet dietary food that differs from our 3 boys. We also have 6 snakes (won’t require feeding/handling/accessing enclosure, only switching on and off of lights AM/PM located on outside of enclosure), 2 Tegus, 1 black throat monitor and a bearded dragon. Our lizards will require a precut/portioned food mixture left refrigerated for the sitter, so being comfortable with opening their access door to put the food in is something we will happily ensure comfort ability on! Outside we have 20 chicks and 2 ducklings, currently all about 6 weeks, which we are also happy to extend care instructions for! Experience with reptiles is not required but is a plus! Our dogs have all completed rattlesnake and Sonoran toad Avoidance training but emergency plans are absolutely set up ahead of time, should an uncontrollable Emergency happen, of course hoping to never have to use them! We are in the heart of the Sonoran desert so an attentiveness to surroundings is extremely imperative! We hope to find someone to build a trusting relationship with and can count on when available in future needs as we continue to expand our ranch family!
