Pet Sitter Job in Flagstaff, Arizona

We will be out of town from July 19 - August 6, and our six friendly and tame pet chickens need a nice nanny. Your job would be to let them out of the coop (best daily for 3 hours in the late afternoon) and be with them in the backyard meanwhile they are running around. You could play with them or just sit there, reading a book or working on your laptop. There may be some small extra duties like distributing food/water, chopping up vegetables or preparing treats. No coop cleaning expected, this will be done by a friend. She can also be contacted if you have a question or if you need a day off. Our setting is very organized, and the chicken well trained to routines and therefore easy to handle. You should find time this week so you can get acquainted with the flock and the duties. We pay an hourly rate of $12 for sitting and $14 for extra duties.
