Pet Sitter Job in Edmonton, Alberta

Elderly lady with terminal illness, needs pet sitter to move into home to care for 2 senior dogs (basset and bull dog) after owner is deceased. Dogs require minimal care, some medications need to be given to dogs (eye meds and pills), let in and out for bathroom breaks, clean up after dogs, feed, minimal or no walks needed, minimal grooming, able to take dogs to vet appointments, pick up meds and food. Pet sitter would remain in the home until the dogs are deceased. All dog and home expenses paid, and pet sitter would receive a negotiable salary. Pet sitter would be responsible for their own food/supplies, cable, phone, internet, personal maintenance of themselves and dogs' environment and management of the household. Cleaning services may be provided bi-weekly, lawn and snow provided as needed. Pet sitter would be in contact with owner's family to report on dogs and the house and to send monthly invoices for salary or reimbursements, as well as any necessary repairs required to home.
