What We're Looking For: Nice to meet you! Our names are Scott and Christina. We are hiring a dog walker/sitter who available in Washougal, Washington. We aim to hire an individual who has experience caring for and training large breed working dogs, specifically Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Service Requirements: We are looking for someone available from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Fridays throughout the summer. We prefer someone who could come to our home to take care of our 5-month-old puppy, but traveling to a safe puppy-friendly home is possible. Responsibilities would include walks, supervised play and rest, and possibly in-person or online work with a professional dog trainer. When needed, be available for both short notice and scheduled overnight care. This would include taking the puppy to morning dog training and other locations to assist with her care. We prefer someone who has experience with being around large breed working dogs, specifically Rhodesian Ridgebacks or other working hound dogs. Other Availability: We can be flexible with both times and pay for the right candidate. Ideally, we would like someone excited to not only care for our puppy but to engage with her training through mentorship with our regular dog trainers.
