Pet Sitter Job in Portland, Oregon

JOB PET DESCRIPTION: Hi there my name is Jenni . I'm booking a pet sitter available in Portland, Oregon. I plan to hire a caring, excellent candidate with occasional availability for a sweet/fun 4.5 year old pemproke corgi named Walter. His back legs are currently paralyzed (he may regain use with continued therapies). He currently needs bladder expressions (help to urinate) 3-4 times daily and assistance with bowell movement clean up, as he is regaining full function of this as he heals too. I know this part sounds terrible, but we have a system in place that makes it pretty easy if you are willing to learn. He uses a wheelchair (rolly cart) for shorter walks or has a wagon for long walks. He loves to just hang out and be loved on. He’s an active, happy guy. DUTIES: Our home requires animal feeding, providing play time/exercises for his iniury (easy, we can show you), and bladder/bowel movement support for pup. It is preferable if you have personal transportation available for ocassional transport of Walter to his therapy appointments, though this would not be very often. UPCOMING DATES: We are looking for care for July 27-30...our pet sitting set up fell through last minute. We are also looking for on-going ocassional care for when we are out of town. He is happy in his crate at night, so overnights are not necessary if everything is timed correctly for mornings and evenings.
