Pet Sitter Job in Saint Joseph, Missouri

Long story short, I run a non-profit dog rescue and currently have six dogs and a potbelly pig living in my house in St. Joe. I also work 24-48 hour shifts as a paramedic on the ambulance. My husband recently moved out (divorce), leaving me with nobody to care for the animals while I work. I am looking for a long-term dogsitter/housesitter/dog walker/situation open for negotiation. I have been running home several times during my shifts to feed and let the dogs out but they are not happy about being left alone for such long periods of time. And when they're not happy, I'm not happy so I'm looking for someone who will be able to spend more time with them than the 20 minutes I give them when I let them all out to pee. Whether that's a couple hours a day with pop-in's or the majority of the time with a housesitting-type arrangement, they just need more attention than I can give them at this time. Everyone is pretty low maintenance and other than having to keep Dolly separated from the others (she's not dog-aggressive but has been known to make bad choices with other dogs when she gets over-stimulated) all they really need is someone to lay on the couch with them and occasionally pet them.
