Pet Sitter Job in Amherst Center, Massachusetts

About The Job: Looking for an experienced animal care person with solid references to help care for 2 friendly parrots at downtown center Amherst home. The right person will have a have fun, playful and vocal personality who will enjoy interacting with our parrots because parrots are super smart and need human interaction. Also very important is the willingness to do some bird cage/ aviary cleaning in aviary area as part of visits… and be comfortable doing this while parrots are out of cages. Additional training can then be provided to you so you will be able to transition into house/ parrot sitting while home owners travel …so availability to stay at house for weekends and longer a big bonus in applicants. Please be a local year round Amherst with your own transportation. Thank you!
