Job Overview: Nice to meet you! My name is Brittany. I'm searching for an animal lover working in Garner, North Carolina. I'm aiming to hire a pet lover who is available at least 1x per month to be in home for multiple hours per day and over night to stay with our sweet but anxious pups. Services And Training: We are looking for a pet/house sitter around 1x per month to stay at our house overnight with our pets. We have 2 very sweet dogs and 1 cat who do much better staying at home than when they are boarded or have to travel long distances to stay with family. Responsibilities include: Feeding pets 2x daily (morning & evening) Cleaning litterbox Staying the night in our home Watering plants as necessary Rolling trash and recycle bins to the street and back Checking mail daily and receiving packages Playtime with dogs or walks if necessary Additional Availability: Pets can be alone at the home during the day for 4-6 hours but will need bathroom breaks beyond that time. Walking not required but preferred by one of our dogs. One dog is high energy and requires playtime in the morning and afternoon/evening. One of our dogs gets anxious around new people so we would like to find a sitter and stick with them so they can become comfortable with each other. We would require a couple of short visits (paid) before the first overnight visit so that you can get to know them. Extra pay for holidays (but we often do not need sitters for major holidays.) Upcoming dates of need are 1x in July (2 days), 1x in October (4 nights), 1x in November (5 nights), 1x in December (6 nights). If we are able to find some one who is a good fit, there may be additional day visits that we need through out the week. PAY IS NEGOTIABLE and based on experience and quality of care.
