Hello! My name is Nicole and I'm a dedicated animal lover who would love to look after your pet for you. I was born and raised in Kitchener where we always had pets: dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, gerbils, you name it! After working as an Archivist for a number of years, I decided to switch course and devote my time to taking care of pets. To this end, I obtained a certificate in Pet First Aid from Walk N' Wags in June of 2021, and a certificate in Professional Dog Walking from the British College of Canine Studies in August of 2021, which I received with merit. The course offered a wide range of skills to care for all different types and breeds of dogs, and covered more than just walking- it went over basic training, some first aid to add to my existing first aid certificate, and ways in which to successfully communicate with an animal. I offer in-your-home 24-hour service to Guelph and the surrounding area which includes plenty of snuggle and play time, lots of walks (generally 30 minutes at a time, how many times per day is totally up to you), administering medications if need be, and the other house basics like watering plants, taking in the mail, and general house upkeep. I will always ensure your house is safely guarded and locked at all times. I would be available for your pet 24 hours of the day; I am able to stay with your pet the entire time. My rate is $70 per day which includes walks and house upkeep. I bring my own sleeping gear and food- so there is nothing for you to do but relax knowing that your pet is being well taken care of from the comfort of its own house by someone who is qualified.
