Pet Sitter Job in Milford, Connecticut

We are hiring a dog handler, or "daycare attendant" at our facility in Milford CT. We are a very busy kennel, averaging 70 dogs a day for boarding & daycare. This job includes monitoring the dogs and encouraging appropriate play, preventing rough play & bullying, and heavy cleaning. Previous dog handling experience is required. In order to apply for this job you must: Be over 18 years of age Be able to identify canine body language & signals Be able to lift >50lbs Work well in a team environment Be able to handle all-sizes of dogs, some exceeding 200lbs Be able to clean urine, feces, blood, vomit, and other types of waste Be able to calmly separate dogs if any aggressive behavior surfaces during play
