Pet Sitter Job in Richmond, Virginia

I’ll be getting married and on my honeymoon from Oct 1 - Oct 8. Looking for someone to come to my home in South Richmond twice daily to care for two Guinea Pigs. They’ll need to be fed and have their cage spot cleaned twice a day- they live mainly on fleece and poop is easily swept or vacuumed up. The fleece and bedding will be changed before I leave so a full cage clean shouldn’t be needed until I get back, although some of the bedding may need to be changed halfway through. They’ll need hay, pellets, and water checked/topped up in the mornings as well as the evenings, with veggies given only in the evenings (these will be separated out before I go so you’ll just need to dump the bag in for each day). One of them will probably like some chin scritches when you stop by, the other usually prefers to be left alone while in the cage. :) One of them is currently on medication for ringworm and being quarantined but should be back to normal before we leave. I will update if anything changes, but to keep them in good health I may need whoever cares for them to give them each a syringe of liquid vitamin C as a "treat" each evening (they go back and forth on whether or not they enjoy this treat, so if you aren't comfortable dealing with the syringes in the case they're being fussy please let me know and I can see about getting them some chewable vitamin C treats instead). I’d prefer someone experienced with Guinea Pigs so references would be great, but general rodent experience is a plus as well!
