Pet Sitter Job in Fort Bragg, California

Hello! I’m moving to Fort Bragg mid-August, with my foster-turned-recently-adopted dog Hank, in August to attend the Krenov school. The school’s schedule is going to be quite busy so I am looking for someone reliable to walk Hank about 3 times a week, ideally in the early afternoon (possibly later on occasion) for walks around 30-40 minutes. I’m flexible with scheduling specific days as things come up. Hank is a super sweet, blanket-loving, 7-year-old Pittie mix. He’s mostly a lazy dog who enjoys lounging but also has bursts of energy. We’re working on managing his reactions to new sights and sounds on walks using positive reinforcement techniques. He’s made great progress and enjoys calm walks where he can observe his surroundings at his own pace. Specifically, things that can trigger him include squirrels, bunnies, and some people and most dogs. He is usually receptive to redirection with treats, as he’s very food motivated. I might also need an occasional overnight pet sitting from time to time. I can provide more details about those needs if that’s a service you offer. What’s your experience with working with dogs who are easily stimulated by sights and sounds, particularly those mentioned above?
