Pet Sitter Job in Colonie, New York

Hi there! I have taken in an 8-yr-old cat, whom I have named Franky (after the 19th century magnetic physician Frank B Smith). However, he is an indoor-outdoor cat, and prefers not to use the litter box indoors. Over the past 5 months, he's only used it once during one of the snow storms. This might be because he spent 2 years on a merchant marine ship with his previous owner before his retirement. I need to start traveling, so, I need to get a plan together for him. I have ordered an auto-door that should let him in and out of the house, but I need human backups to keep him happy and fed and to make sure the door is working properly. I have a family member to help, but I need more help. We can talk about whether overnights are needed. He is a bit spoiled in that he liked to come in and out at night. I know it is crazy, but he makes noises I can't deal with when he can't go out. The auto-door should fix this problem (if it ships in time). However, it's not tested. So, I need someone to help. My upcoming trips are June 11-13 and June 20-24. Other travel dates would follow. Bonding and insurance is preferred. I would ask for a 30-45 min interview at the house, where you can see the situation and meet the pet. Thanks very much! John
