We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet walkers and Sitters to provide exceptional care for our k9 and feline clients. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and the ability to manage various pet care tasks, ensuring the well-being and happiness of our furry clients. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and excellent customer service skills to foster strong relationships with pet owners. Duties: - Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medications as needed. - Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during their stay. - Maintain a clean and hygienic environment for pets, including cleaning litter boxes and pet areas. - Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the owner promptly. - Engage in playtime and exercise activities to keep pets active and happy. - Handle various breeds of dogs and other animals with confidence, utilizing proper animal restraint techniques when necessary. - Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's needs and any incidents that may arise. - Assist with heavy lifting as needed for larger pets or equipment related to pet care. Experience: - Previous experience in pet care or related fields such as veterinary assistance or animal handling is preferred. - Skills in dog handling and familiarity with kennel environments are advantageous. - Experience in customer service is essential to ensure a positive experience for pet owners. - Knowledge of veterinary practices or experience as a veterinary technician is a plus but not required.
