Your very much appreciated care is needed for July 21 to 25. I have 2 elder cats with kidney issues. Frances needs 150cc fluids everyday w/ few meds & supplements. Gray must ONLY eat K/D prescription food. Young family of 3 eats diet dry & Friskies wet. Frances simple refuses her K/D so eats Friskies wet and Iams dry. Frances & Gray are fed 3x day; my husband serves them the extra meal(s). "Kidney cats" are to be separated from 3 others so they don't eat their food. Frances & Gray must be separated from each other too because Gray can NOT eat regular food to protect her kidneys. The other 3 get 1 cup diet dry with two 5.5 oz. or 1 lg. 13oz. can mixed all together with about 1/3 cup water. BraveHeart dangerously stopped peeing because he preferred the dry food and got fat. Adding water helps prevent this. Caregiver must be willing to do follow these directions. (It seems complicated at first till you get used to it.) Your pay depending on how often you come, experience & skill level can be determined fairly yet pleasingly to you the conscientious CAREgiver :0) There is a feral cat (who has had his rabies vaccine so no worries) that comes by at feeding time. He gets handful of dry Iams outside. My husband also feeds him leftover cat food.
