Pet Sitter Job in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hi there! My name is Amy. I am looking for an experienced pet sitter to watch my two adult cats while I am away in late November/early December (starting November 24th). This would have to be within my home. I am not 100% sure when I will be returning back to Halifax so I need someone who is flexible and willing to sit for a significant amount of time if need be. My two cats are named Spike and Dawn. They just turned four years old. I adopted them in May of this year after they spent the first 3 1/2 years of their life in horrible situations and foster homes. They are adorable and sweet but extremely timid to new people. They came from the same litter and are inseparable - they need to be near each other almost 24/7. I am hoping to find someone who has plenty of experience pet-sitting cats and who is understanding of their boundaries. They are not to be picked up, played with, or touched unless they come to you. I am overly protective of these guys as they weren't too treated well until I adopted them. Your main responsibilities would be cleaning their litter box, feeding them, giving them water, and playing with/turning on sensory videos for them. I am quite worried about their exercise when I leave them because I fear they won't be comfortable enough to play around with each other/with their sitter while I am away. You would probably only need to be at my house for around 2 hours each day - once in the morning and once in the evening. I look forward to hearing from you!
