Pet Sitter Job in Edmonton, Alberta

Posting: Nice to meet you! My name is Kristina. I am hoping to hire a dog sitter living in Edmonton, Alberta. I'm hoping to find a careful employee with regular availability to work in my home with my 3 year old dog. Details: Our home is in need of caring for our dog who has epilepsy, which requires administering medication, and keeping an ear out for him if he happens to have a seizure (as well as being there to brace his head to ensure he does not knock it on items within the home if he does have a seizure). Currently, they are not daily seizures and have been timed to occur anywhere between 14-16 days and/or 27 days (which is the longest time we have gone without seeing a seizure most recently). The perfect candidate would have over two years of experience however this isn't necessary to work with us. I'm looking for someone who is able to work alongside a dog who has been through many foster families and is quite nervous when first meeting people. He has a period of barking that occurs when new people are around, but as they frequently come this barking behaviour subsides. He loves to be pet (when he is completely comfortable) and currently with the winter weather he is okay to be let out into our backyard with supervision to use the washroom (as the gates in the yard have been open previously and he slipped out).
