Pet Sitter Job in Freeport, Illinois

Job Description: Nice to meet you! My name is Tony. I am interviewing for a cat sitter for immediate hire and potentially down the road gigs. I’ll cut straight to the point. My wife and I have a cat that requires feeding twice a day. He is an older cat and I believe him to be a pretty chill cat. Does not bite and scratch but there is a warming up period. By no means is he a lap cat either, we kind of just coexist in the house now. Here is the catch, he needs to be fed at 6AM in the morning and again at 6PM. I know that’s pretty earlier, but the other catch is that he is a diabetic so there is a huge amount of leeway with the morning feeding time. Also, he does require a shot of insulin with a syringe at each meal time, that keeps him kickin and prevents him front getting too sick. The shots are simple, way easier than a person and he is usually 100% distracted by food when we give it to him. This opportunity does require litter box cleaning as well in the evenings. We are looking for a sitter in the Freeport area that can cover the upcoming holiday (next weekend) Additional Availability: We can be flexible for the right candidate.
