Pet Sitter Job in Crestview, Florida

I am looking for someone who us able to take care of senior cat with medical problems. Lasagna is an old, skinny, but very sweet cat that has some medical problems that leads him to be high maintenance. He was rescued as a stray about a year ago, and has since gotten better, but still requires a lot of care. He has a hard time walking (he is slow) due to his paws being overextended (carpal hyperextension), as well as being declawed from a previous owner. He back legs joints are also an issue, as he does have arthritis. He unfortunately cannot jump very well and sometimes needs to be picked up and placed onto higher places. Unfortunately, because of the problem with his paws, he has a tendency to pee on carpet or rugs since it feels better for his paws. As long as he does not have access to carpet or rugs, he will use his litterbox just fine. After he has a bowel movement, we usually wipe his rear as he will often leave little fecal marks if we don't. He usually has a bowel movement in the morning, in the afternoon, and at night. He eats a strict diet of Purina pro plan sensitive stomach char flavor. He unfortunately cannot have treats, or anything else, as it will make him vomit. He usually eats every 2-3 hours and sometimes he needs a bit of encouragement to finish his meal. He takes 1/4 tablet of Cerenia everyday around 5pm-7pm before dinner to help prevent vomiting. He will often need to be fed overnight around 2-3am and again between 4am-5am. We have come to learn that if we miss an over night meal, he will often vomit. He is pretty good about letting us know when he is hungry, as he likes to chew on things when he is. We have some rubber chew toys for him to help prevent him from chewing on various things. He loves to chew on anything plastic, anything rubber or elastic, and recently metal chairs--we try to discourage this behavior. I know he requires a lot of care. Besides all his problems, Lasagna is very sweet. He will cuddle all day on the couch, loves pets and head scratches, and attention. He is calm and mostly quiet. He is an indoor only cat, and is rather content with it. He usually sleeps all day, until he is hungry or has to use the litter box.
