Pet Sitter Job in Poulsbo, Washington

Job Overview: Hey my name is Lisa. I am seeking a "bird-sitter" in the Poulsbo, Wa/Kitsap Couty area of WA state. My Hahn's mini-macaw (just a bit bigger than a green cheek conure) is sociable and likes company. She's boarded at Avian Vet in Bremerton for the past few years, but they're ending their boarding division. I don't have specific dates yet, but anticipate a few trips this summer (2022) and if things work out off and on throughout the year. Experience with birds and good references/reviews essential. Depending on length of my travel, would require she either to stay with you at your home (travel cage, etc provided), for you to visit her at my home 2x a day or you are also welcome to house and pet sit here in my home. Rates flexible depending on degree of service. Thank you! Details: "Sophie" needs fresh water/food am/pm. A bit of sweet talk conversation and interaction (she's nippy so staying in her cage is OK, unless you're comfortable and experienced handling birds). Cage cleaning (or at least fresh paper) every few days. It is an asset if you have personal transportation available. Other Availability: We can be flexible for the right candidate.
