Hi fellow animal lovers, My name is Becky and I would LOVE to take care of your fur baby whenever you need. I've had cats and dogs literally my entire life! My 1st dogs as an adult were Labs, a black one named Kyro and a Chocolate named Kima. I trained Kyro to do some awesome stuff; it also helped that he was INCREDIBLY intelligent and EXTREMELY eager to learn. I tried to teach Kima the same things, but the poor dog just wasn't very smart BUT Kyro did help teach him things as well. I personally trained Kyro to know the difference between shaking hands and shaking his body off before he came inside to get all the leaves and dirt off of him.... Kima, bless his heart, tried but usually didn't succeed. I taught them both to not eat out of each other's bowls (even though the bowls were side by side), not to eat out of the cat's bowl (that was on the floor as well) but they both knew any loose food on the floor was fair game. I also taught them to sit and stay and I would go around the house, randomly throwing dog treats everywhere, then go back to where they were I left them sitting and neither one had moved. I would tell them "Go get'em and they would find every single treat I hid for them. Kyro was my protector and the best dog I have ever owned until this point. Unfortunately, one day I found a huge tumor in the roof of his mouth and within 2 months, my amazingly smart, beautiful and loving best friend was gone. Having to put him down was and still is the hardest thing I have EVER done in my entire life and I still randomly cry about him. He lived to be 14 and he was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST DOG EVER!! Kima was a big, lovable goof as we like to refer to him as. He wasn't the smartest of dogs but he loved his people more than anything else! He was definitely a lover not a fighter. He was a BIG Lab and with that comes bad hips. Kima lived to be a little over 16 yrs old until his hips totally gave out and his quality of life was almost down to nothing. There will NEVER be a big lovable goof like Kima ever again! During the time of being the mom to 2 amazing dogs, I also had a cat named Stoli, who honestly was kind of an , but he was a very laid back, tolerate and could be incredibly loving--when he wanted to be. During this time of having 2 Labs and a cat, I rescued my Manchester/Chihuahua mix running down the fast lane of PGBTW and so I named her G.B. (George Bush) which has been transformed into Geebers or Geebs. I now live in Coppell and still have Geebs and a Carolina Dog named Freyia; which I didn't even know was a thing until we adopted her from Coppell Animal Rescue about 4-5 months ago. She is so incredibly sweet, LOVES other dogs, LOVES to run and play- we have a dog park at the end of our Cul-de-sac we take her to several times a week. However, I haven't seen how she reacts around cats yet. In my lifetime, I've had dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, fish, turtles, sugar gliders, birds, a rabbit, mice, hamsters, frogs....... I think that's it but I could've forgotten 1 or 2. I am a college graduate with a major in Public Relations, minor in Psychology but I learned a long time ago that I like animals a lot more than I like people. I have shadowed vets on multiple occasions and somehow I just seem to know quite a bit about most animals: their needs, wants and if they're sick, what made them sick and how to fix it but I am IN NO WAY a Vet so if something happens to your fur baby while in my care, you will be the first I contact and then use your personal vet so you will have comfort in knowing your pet is well cared for. I have been a pet sitter as well as a pet boarder for many families on another site. ALL of the parents were very pleased with the love and care I gave to their fur babies and I had several dogs that didn't wanna go home with their parents when they came to pick them up. I would be honored if you would allow me to watch your most valued possession, your fur baby!
